TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ACCEPTANCE

By using ReadHero ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. THE SERVICE

ReadHero generates personalized comic-book stories for children using AI. Stories are generated on-demand and calibrated to reading levels. The Service is intended for use by parents/guardians on behalf of their children.

3. ACCOUNTS

You must be 18+ to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Each account may create profiles for multiple children.

4. FREE AND PAID PLANS

Free accounts receive 4 story credits per month. Paid plans provide unlimited access. Credits do not roll over between months. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice.

5. CONTENT

Stories are AI-generated and may not always be perfect. We apply content safety filters but cannot guarantee every output. Parents should review content for younger children. You may not use the Service to generate harmful, inappropriate, or illegal content.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA)

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. We collect only the child's first name, age, grade level, and reading interests — no contact information, photos, or location data from children. All data is stored securely and used solely for generating personalized stories.

7. DATA

Your data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure. We do not sell personal data. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the dashboard.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Stories generated for you are yours to keep and share. The ReadHero brand, design, and technology remain our property.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Service is provided "as is." We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the Service.
